A full-day nordic adventure including a dogsled tour, lunch, and a self-drive dogsled option with your guide. This is an experience where you truly get to know the dogs as individuals and see how we operate our husky kennel. It´s more in-depth than our day or evening tours with a focus on all aspects of ethical and responsible dogsledding including dog welfare.
You begin with greeting our dogs and some basic instruction on commands and how to handle the dogsled followed by a tour over the frozen lake and forests on our trails. Once back we talk about husky training and feeding, and allow them to rest while we enjoy lunch. After coffee or tea, it’s your turn to show what you’ve learned and assist with putting the huskies in front of the sled and feeling the thrill of driving your dog team. We make sure you feel 100% comfortable before we take off and we can always always assist if you feel insecure. After our return you can help take the huskies back into their pen and assist with taking off the harnesses and of course cuddles and pictures. This is a safe, fun, and responsible way to experience the thrill of dog-sledding.
